Beginners
Next film, "beginners" is the first dramatic film from Mike Mills, as "Thumbsucker" in 2005. He manages to mix comedy and family drama of his discreet particular brand of mind in this new film. Christopher Campos Plummer plays Hal, a boy of 75 who lost his wife and told her adult son, played by Ewan McGregor, who is willing to go out and start living as a man gay. Just Ewan has digested the idea that his father is not only out of the closet, but a much younger lover, played by Goran Visnjic also learns that his father has cancer. Anna, played by Mélanie Laurent, a French actress sexy Oliver meets a costume party 38 years allows Oliver agreed with the changes in your life. Ewan McGregor wonderful it serious role as the son crushed. It has excellent chemical with Plummer and their scenes together are honest and sensitive. Melanie Laurent Supporting Actress is a strong and Goran Visnjic is also excellent in his role as a much younger boyfriend Plummer.
Mills adds excellent touches like captions for Jack Russell can contact Hal Oliver. Oliver wonderful graphic design work reflects the fact that graphic design is a profession other Mills talents.
