Did I get a good deal on this laptop?
Hi everyone,
I just bought a 17″ HP laptop for $970 (before taxes) and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I got a good deal on it. I am a college student (majoring in computer science) who will use it mostly for school but also some medium gaming.

Yes that is a really good deal, 4 gigs of ram, great graphics card and wireless N and a big harddrive for $970. If the screen was smaller I would purchase that instead of a macbook. But since your majoring in computer science you might want to upgrade to 2.4ghz processor but it will still run really well.
