165 Wentworth St Surry Hills has been home to more than a nightclub, during dance salsa nights and even comedy. The location and cost of the place makes it a perfect place for an evening, a drink after work or dinner in one of the smallest most intimate areas of the room. This time, the club is under new management with a world of new events and future projects.
Sasha Mukhin reached Ben Peterson, the new owner of the site to see the prospects for the near future and Polar Jimmy talk lighting and sound of the roof.
Sasha: Why did you decide to buy in March Lounge?
Ben: Sydney needs entertainment options more quality, they are renovating the space to become a theater with a great scene, world-class PA and lighting.
Sasha: What is your favorite feature of the site?
Ben: More than one hundred years old frame everywhere.
Sasha: What did you done differently since he bought the place?
Ben: We built a stage, all new furniture, lighting class World and sounds completely new entertainment program including live music and performance, including exhibitions of art burlesque, and more.
