I need to know are you trying to install TWO separate drives? a DVD/RW drive AND a CD/RW drive? or just ONE drive.
Please be aware that you don’t actually install drives on a motherboard, all you need is a drive bay for each drive and an IDE ribbon connector for each drive. Most motherboards support 4 IDE connectors. 1 of which is used for your harddrive, you should be able to hold 2 drives like you say if its a new motherboard, I’d like to help you further, perhaps if its possible for you to take pictures of the interior configuration of your computer?
